Postdoctoral researcher, Dr. Liset Cruz Font, and PhD student, Andrew Rous, each delivered talks on their research tracking fish in the Toronto Harbour as part of a session they co-chaired entitled “Acoustic Telemetry: Using Big Data to Answer Big Questions”. The conference (May 25-29, 2015) was hosted at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. This year’s theme was New Views, New Tools and held sessions on diverse research topics emanating from the Great Lakes Basin, including Ecological Restoration in Cities, Multiple Stressors and Cumulative Effects, and Fishing Down the Food Web.
