This week Steve Cooke, Jacqueline Chapman and Melissa Dick attended the 8th Annual Workshop on Salmon Migrations, Climate Change, and Catch and Release Fisheries hosted by the Pacific Salmon Ecology and Conservation Laboratory at the University of British Columbia. Each year, researchers working on Pacific salmon meet to engage with local stakeholders, government agencies, and first nations to communicate results, identify gaps in current knowledge, and maintain knowledge transfer between the groups.
