In collaboration with Austin Gallagher from Beneath the Waves, Lab manager Jessica Taylor and PhD student Amanda Jeanson organized a hugely successful film festival this week at Carleton University. The festival was attended by over 100 people including members of the general public, conservation authorities, students, alumni, recreational anglers and fisheries researchers. The films highlighted local freshwater research, including research from our lab, and was followed by a panel discussion between the audience and five aquatic conservation experts.
